Aaron Lovelady – Brass

Aaron Lovelady teaches Trumpet and Brass at Desert Ridge Music Academy. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Music from the University of North Alabama where he studied with Dr. Ed Jones. He received a Masters of Music from the University of Florida where he studied with Roger Blackburn and Dr. Randy Lee.

He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts at Arizona State University where he studies under Regents Professor David Hickman. Mr. Lovelady is a trumpeter that has performed throughout the southeastern and southwestern United States.

He has performed with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, served as principal trumpet of the Ocala Symphony, the Shoals Symphony, and the Gainesville Orchestra, and played with the Jacksonville Five brass quintet and the Gainesville Brass Quintet, served as one of the solo cornets and as repiano cornet with Pat Sheridan’s Salt River Brass, and has recorded with the Arizona Contemporary Music Ensemble and can be heard in show music at King’s Dominion theme park in Doswell, VA. In addition, He has also performed in popular music ensembles, jazz bands, and funk ensembles, he has served as an apprentice in the Hot Spring Music Festival in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
