Orlando Moss – Strings

Orlando Moss is an orchestra instructor at Desert Ridge Music Academy and the Peoria Unified School District. Orlando has been teaching strings for over 20 years and has received numerous “Superior” ratings at various orchestra festivals.

He graduated from Grambling State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and earned his Masters Degree from Jackson State University.
Orlando is a member of the North Valley Symphony Orchestra as a violinist. Additionally, he is the director for the Youth Symphony at NVSO. He is actively involved in professional organizations such as the Music Educator’s National Conference, National Association for Music Education and the Suzuki Association of the Americas.

Orlando is one to say that he does not teach, he awakens and strives to enhance the musical abilities of those that choose to endure the art of music.
