Anna graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Voice from Brigham Young University - Idaho with magna cum laude honors in 2014. Her true passion is integrating music theory into her teaching, which she believes is a key aspect of true musicianship and performance. As a voice and piano teacher, Anna aims to help students find and hone their natural abilities, to work from student strengths, and to foster a passion to excel in the music world.

AVA ADDLEMAN - PIANO & VOICE

Ava holds a Bachelor's in Music from ACU. Her personal teaching style based on the student's individual voice and passions. She creates space for self-discovery, exploration, and growth. Each lesson is an opportunity for the student to understand their own voice and apply techniques that fit, growing in both skill and confidence.

CARRIE LYNN - PIANO & VOICE

Carrie Lynn is a piano and vocal teacher who specializes in breaking down music to it's simplest patterns and using YouTube and games as learning aids. With her 24 years of experience in piano and voice, 15 years of performing experience, and her genuine love of teaching, she's the ideal teacher for students of any age who are ready to learn how to play or perform with or without sheet music. Carrie Lynn also 10 years experience teaching neurodiverse students, and takes pride in her years as a respite.

Colleen has over 20 years of Teaching Experience including teaching K-12 Music Education. "Music is a Lifetime Gift! It has given me so much enjoyment and my greatest reward is sharing my gift with others. I strongly believe the skills learned in music transfer to a child's success in the classroom.

GABBY HUBLER - PIANO & VOICE

Gabby began studying piano at age 11, and has been working as a professional pianist since 2016. She has been teaching since 2018 and specializes in guiding students towards their personal goals. Her great desire and passion in life is to share the joy of music with her students. She especially loves to instill the desire to play and enjoy music, and to share its greatness and beauty with others.

KEZIAH MINER - PIANO & VOICE

Keziah Miner is an Idaho native, who has been involved in music since she was four years old. She is currently working on her degree at Mesa Community College, and she plans to finish a bachelor’s in secondary education with a music minor at Arizona State. At the center of all of Keziah’s lesson plans is “emphasizing enjoyment”. She loves all aspects of teaching, and loves watching her students succeed while having fun.

LAURA GIBSON - PIANO & VOICE

Laura Gibson is a classically trained soprano with a degree in Arts Management and Vocal Performance and I teach singers and music students of all ages! She adores musical theater and opera most of all, but she appreciates of all types of music. She loves helping performers gain confidence in themselves and their own unique abilities. She is neurodiverse and passionate about teaching anyone who loves music that wants to grow as an artist and musician!

LUCAS MILES - PIANO & VOICE

Lucas is an experienced musician who teaches piano, voice, and composition. Lucas enjoys teaching a wide variety of genres ranging from classical, rock, pop, and more! He welcomes all ages and skill levels, and those with learning disabilities. Lucas believes that being a teacher means being a lifelong learner, so he is always open to new techniques and developments, and is constantly applying multiple teaching methods to provide a versatile and fun learning experience for each of his students.

LUKE FAZIO - PIANO & VOICE

Luke began studying music at age 9. He joined school band as a percussionist in middle school and performed in choir concerts and musicals throughout high school. Luke focused on piano and voice during his college years and he holds a Bachelor of Music Education from ASU. Luke teaches at DRMA as well as several elementary schools around the Valley. In his own words, "I want to help students deeply connect with music and tap into the many ways it can enhance their lives."

MCKENZIE OMORUYI-JONES - PIANO & VOICE

Mckenzie Omoruyi teaches Piano, Voice and Flute lessons. She has a true passion for teaching and continually encourages students to explore different methods to expand their technical abilities. McKenzie loves to create a fun learning space for students of all ages and skill levels.

MORGAN GOETTL - PIANO & VOICE

Morgan Goettl is a passionate music educator with years of experience in both vocal and instrumental pedagogy. She works as a piano, voice, and flute instructor at Desert Ridge Music Academy and is working toward her bachelor’s in Music Learning and Teaching at Arizona State University. As an educator, Morgan aims to provide her students with both a thorough music theory background, emphasizing sight-reading, musical form/structure, and ear-training, as well as a genuine love for music that lasts a lifetime. Ultimately, she strives to create well-rounded, passionate musicians that can succeed in any area of life.

YAROU LIU - PIANO & VOICE

Yarou Liu, has been professionally taught piano and voice since age 5 and started performing at age 8. She is fluent in Mandarin, Japanese, and English and holds a Bachelors in Music Performance, and a Masters in Music Education. She teaches students of all ages and skill levels from beginner to expert level.

ARYKA PAGELER - ALL STRINGS

Aryka teaches Strings and Voice at DRMA. She holds a bachelor's degree in music from ACU. 

Aryka is highly adaptable to her students' needs. "I believe in meeting students where they're at and pushing them towards the goals we set together."

BELLA SCHWERIN - ALL STRINGS

As a private instructor, Bella's goal is to help students discover and to develop the necessary fundamentals to reach their goals. She prioritizes physical awareness and understanding on the instrument, and the ability to produce a good sound. She believes it is crucial to help the student find a healthy love for music and the instrument itself. She encourages her students to adopt these values as they work towards their individual success. She excels in Cello, Violin and Viola

CAROL KRAHULEC- VIOLIN

Carol Krahulec earned her Master’s degree in Instrumental Music Education from ASU, and her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from NAU. She has taught both private lessons and Strings in the public schools for 37 years. Carol believes in developing a strong foundation of technique and skills. With that, all styles of music can be explored and mastered. She is classically trained and values that method and repertoire, but also uses her passion for world music to add supplementary material into the lessons if desired. The joy of music, and the joy of playing an instrument is the ultimate goal.

JAMIE WU - VIOLIN & VIOLA

Jamie Wu, originally from Taiwan, started playing both violin and piano at the age of 4. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in violin performance (with minors in piano performance) from National Taiwan Normal University. In 2021, she earned her an additional master’s degree in violin performance pedagogy from Arizona State University. Currently, she is working on her Doctor of Music Arts degree at ASU. Jamie has been a teacher for 10 years. She is classically trained and believes in the importance of developing the foundations of techniques and theory in order for students to be able to play anything by themselves. Learning music should be fun and enjoyable, and she will do the hard part of teaching you how to build up your skills and use your tools so you can enjoy learning and playing!

LAURA SYJUD - ALL STRINGS

Laura Syjud has a Bachelor’s in music education and a Master’s in early childhood education. She is also a registered Suzuki teacher violin books 1-4 and is an active board member for the Arizona Suzuki Association. She loves teaching young children through adults, keeping in mind the joy of learning and relevant material, no matter what age the students. She often says, "I don't teach to create professional musicians, I use music to teach confidence, determination and to nurture growth."

MIKE SUN - ALL STRINGS

Mr. Sun has a bachelors of music education (Instrumentals), cum laude, from Shandong Teaching University, a masters of music (violin performance/conducting) from Arizona State University, and is a doctoral candidate in musical arts (instrumentals/conducting) from Arizona State University. He has teaching certificates from the Arizona Department of Education, Maricopa Community Colleges, and Suzuki Strings.

VIVIAN BRADY - ALL STRINGS

Vivian strives for the best in her students. While her primary aim is to ensure comprehension of material, she finds it necessary to create a fun environment for the student to learn in, which in turn provides the opportunity for growth. Her philosophy of music education focuses on the success and individualized learning of each and every student.
